Cleaning Services

Summary: UCSD Building Services provides cleaning and specialty maintenance services to the campus. We provide a basic level of services for state-funded areas. Supplemental services are available at a charge to the customer.

The Building Services division of Facilities Management performs a variety of services for campus buildings, including:

Cleaning offices, restrooms, conference rooms, laboratories, and classrooms
Sweeping and cleaning interior stairwells and other indoor public areas
Sweeping and cleaning exterior spaces
Stripping and refinishing hard-surface floors
Cleaning and shampooing carpet and upholstery
Washing windows
Cleaning and repairing blinds
Ordering entrance mats and window shades or blinds on a recharge basis
Securing doors and interior spaces
Recycling and waste management
Arranging recharge/ specialty services above the campus standard
